It's good. Pretty good. There's going to be a lot of inherent discomfort with the premise (12 year old boy and 16 year old girl getting together), but if you look past it, it's a sweet romcom about a girl learning how to love (and be loved). It's really simple. Like it's incredible how simple it is. If you want a feel good story, this is it.
