Well if you have read both stories you will find a lot of similarity. Because both of them involves a girl falling in love with a 'non' human boy, they are both shoujo genres as well. But then again they are also different. And unlike Rein wich is a vampire and comes from a book Takuma is a 'human' and comes from an electronic notebook. 

in hana to akumas case is a demon falls in love with human girl and in vampire crises its a vampire falling in love with a human girl. Even the vivi and rain are completely opposite you still get the same felling off of them and they are both cute and entertaing to read
