With a supernatural context, at the sight of the theme of the mediums, and the presence of the delusional police inspector very typical in detective manga.. it is mostly an Alibi cracking and whydunit mystery series, where even if the culprit is easy to figure out, how the criminal committed these crimes is the difficult bit as the criminals often have an ironclad alibi.. So the Manga encourage the readers to crack the alibi of the criminals and find out the motive behind the murders from all the clues presented to the readers by the main character Jozuka Hisui by hearing the voices of the dead victims or so she claims..
