Synopsis

When Reinhardt Lincke first lived her life, she felt nothing but misery and rage. Her fiancé, Crown Prince Michel Allanketh, called off their engagement and exiled her after her beloved father died in his stead. It was hardly a banishment; wealth and warmth surrounded her in a prosperous territory, but her heart darkened with each passing day, aching from the injustice and betrayal. It is the strength of her anguish that miraculously transports her 15 years into the past, just before Michel abandons her.

Reinhardt's sole purpose becomes retaliation against the arrogant prince who robbed her of everything. She stabs Michel's leg and receives a harsh punishment: life in the snowy and dangerous mountains at one of the empire's forgotten corners. When Reinhardt finds herself in trouble, a small and disheveled child saves her life. She quickly realizes that the child is the emperor's 16-year-old illegitimate son, a skilled assassin whom Michel was to soon discover and mold into a perfectly obedient and loyal servant. Michel's most formidable weapon now belongs to Reinhardt—and she will stop at nothing to exact her revenge.

Finally a manga that differ from the usual isekai shoujo! And I enjoy it quite a lot so far!

The plot is original and has a lot of potential. A lady in a political conflict, returning in the past, only to find a lonely child and taking care of him, not only to maybe use him as a war tool in the future, but to give him a chance in life and some affection.

Characters are endearing, specially Willhem. In a certain manner, he reminds me of Adam Taylor in "Why Raeliana ended up at the duke's mansion", but I am only at chapter 12.

Okay, I’ve recovered enough emotionally to revisit this one.

This manhwa has received a lot of mixed reviewed, which is fair honestly. It tackles some very complex themes, and not always in ways that sits well. That said, I’d argue that a lot of the criticism is somewhat misguided. For example, of the most common misconceptions is that the fl is a pedophile and/or that she groomed the ml.

It’s important to note that both of these characters have regressed in time, and that they had a separate dynamic in their past life, albeit wasn’t romantic (at least on her end). Moreover, Rein doesn’t adopt ...

I started reading manhwas last month and this is by far the worst manhwa I've read till now. It is toxic and after reading half of it I couldn't go on reading this
Both fl and ml are toxic and just bad !!!
The part where she destroys the crown prince's dead body and while having his blood on her hands and clothes she does that with the ml is beyond me .( if you know what I'm talking about)
