Background

The Wave is originally a webtoon series which was published in print by Seoul Media Comics on December 20, 2015. It was also published in Japanese under the title Shuukyoku no Wavers (終極のWAVERS), where it was serialized in Monthly Hero's for 8 chapters from August 1, 2014 to March 1, 2015.

The series was published digitally in English by Tapas Media from May 4, 2016 to June 2, 2016.
