"Zomgan" is an action-packed, life's-purpose story about fighting against superpowered cannibals.

First of all, the world is set years after a mysterious zombie virus turned the world upside down. However, with a twist, after a short while the zombies would evolve into "zomgans," intelligent creatures with intelligence, strength, and a thirst for blood (basically vampires).

Secondly, the fight choregraphy is this manhwa is incredible. Whilst many pieces of fantasical media default to "hit hard, hit fast, energy beam," Zomgan achieves success in showing clear, beautiful, and creative fight scenes. This is especially the case with the protagonist, who makes sure to use all his abilities in his arsenal, a spectacular sight to behold.

Unfortunately the story seems a little aimless, and the plot for now simply revolves around survive and kill, which is disappointing to say the least. Important characters are developed very well, but side characters often simply pop into existence through time skips - and don't last too long for the readers to care. And it doesn't help that the protagonist doesn't seem to care either; it's often frustrating because the protagonist could solve the issue easily, but he just... doesn't.

Overall, this is a good read. It's a guilty pleasure on the side of pleasure, with unique characters, incredible fights, and polished art. It's a shame it drags itself down with its pacing and aimlessness, though things do seem to be ramping up.

Zomgan.
Since I'm a big fan of the zombie genre, I can safely say that this is one of the best manga I've read and am reading right now.

Even though there aren't more than 20 chapters at the moment, the manhwa can already please the eye with its drawings. Each character stands out in their own way, especially when they dilute them with an unusual hair colour (blue).

The author also uniquely portrayed the zombies. You can already tell from them alone that this is no ordinary horror manga. In almost every work, zombies are dumb monsters that evolve into larger ones but also remain brainless. ... Here, after the same evolution, they become intelligent. (As we are told, they remember their lives before transformation) And like the title of the work, they are called Zomgan.

How they came to be is not yet known. Along with this, the magic we know came into the world (somewhere in chapters 5-7 you can see it). There may be more besides magic, but I can't say. Gangs (clans, factions, guilds - I don't know what to call it) also started to appear.) There's no information yet, but there are factions on both the monster and human sides (you can learn more about them by starting to read the manhwa). The protagonist was recruited by one such gang.

The main character himself is a schoolboy who has only one goal - to die. (Why he wants to die was explained in chapters 10 and 12). The main character is probably the strongest of all possible characters we have been shown, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

There is no system or transition between worlds (I guess). This is a simple apocalypse with a supernatural, which I recommend starting to read to all fans of dark fantasy and just the zombie genre.
