as of this prequel it left much to be desired, it has given the reader some context of the mc's past and why they are the way they are but the way the mc goal is set up and completely forgotten at the last few chapters feels very lack luster. i feel it would've been better if they didn't give him that goal at all considering how he acts in dark lady.
it feels like it would be a national crime to even compare the art styles of the 2 parts but as a part 1 standalone it was fine/decent(positive kind). it was kind of generic
...
but has a flare of uniqueness.
my experience with this series as a whole was me reading a lil of dark lady first, stopped early forgot about the series and came back to finish the whole series when i found this. i decided to read this first then go continue dark lady from the start and as of writing this review i am at 189 of dark lady. comparisons between the origin and dark lady will be inevitable as i still remembered some of dark lady even as i was reading the origin.
as a whole this manhwa is more like a prequel to fill some gaps and explain some part of the mc for dark lady instead of its own actual origin story. imo if u want to read it to fill the small gaps of the mc's previous world but its definitely not a requirement.
