Synopsis

The reincarnation concept brings freshness to the wuxia genre. The slice-of-life focus provides a nice change of pace from constant action. Steady, well-paced storytelling so far. Intriguing larger plot seems to be building.

Art: 8/10
Bright, energetic art style perfectly captures the lighthearted comedy. Character expressions are highly endearing. Backgrounds are simple but serviceable. Action scenes are impressively portrayed.

Characters: 7/10
Seeing a former warrior pursue scholarly arts makes for an amusing flip of expectations, though his change feels abrupt. MC's childlike innocence gives him an endearing charm. The doting family and servants are lovable.
