Don't you just love it when you raise your future spouse? Yeah, it's one of those.
I don't have a ton to say about this series. The FL is neat, she was reincarnated as a witch. This witch is immortal and has a ton of history with the empire (basically founded the empire). The current royal family hates her and sent her the outcasted prince. This is the prince from the book she read... the prince that kills the witch (her) when he grows up. She decides to raise him nicely so he won't kill her.

and he's in love with her and also in line for the throne. Lots of melodrama ensues.
I don't hate the romance in this manhwa... but I certainly don't feel anything for it. This manhwa has some interesting things (I really like the idea of the FL being this immortal witch and her being reincarnated as the witch for a very long time) but at the same time none of them are really used in interesting ways. The plot is bland, the romance is bland, and I just couldn't find anything out of this to really enjoy or critique beyond the standard "Oh ShE RaIsEs ThE lOvE iNtErEsT" complaint. This manhwa doesn't have anything particularly unique.
I will say I really liked Edmund as a character and wish he affected the plot more. His scenes with the ML were great and I felt he had a lot of insight into what the ML was going through.
Anyways your time is better spent elsewhere.
