Pros
- Dillion (Female lead) is an interesting and memorable character. it's incredibly exciting to see how she grows throughout the story.
- watching Dillon and Cedric learn to work through their differences in a very real and deep way is incredibly rewarding
- the side characters are also very interesting and varied in personality and it's fun to see how Dillion wins them over and/or puts her foot down

Cons
- Cedric, the male lead is kind, gentlemanly, stoic and bold but he isn't all that memorable.
- the ending wasn't all that memorable
- the story dragged on a bit too long about dillion being concerned over taking the original ... novels characters place. It didn't really serve as an exciting climax/resolution.

Overall I love this story, mainly because of my girl Dillion and the real relationship and communication issues the two of them work out, dillion is a memorable and exciting character who has very real and interesting struggles that women like me go through but she learns to work with her personality instead of against it and rise to not only be a good wife but surpass the expectations of everyone around her in real, tangible ways.

A Manhwa with actually fleshed-out characters instead of repeated stereotypes, lack of unnecessary misunderstandings, and an expressive and distinctive art style? Sign me up!

Compared to the sea of repeated cliches and plotlines that plague the genre of “Female Lead gets Isekai’d into a book as a villainess”, “For better or for worse” stands out thanks to its well-written dialogue and how engaging the relationships between the characters are.

I can only speak for the English translation, but the way the characters banter with each other feels so realistic and charming, it’s just a treat to read! In my time reading Manhwas, I’ve usually seen interactions ... between the main leads that are limited to just surface-level shows of affection, gift-giving, and protecting. But here, the main leads, Dillon and Cedric, banter about various subjects while showing off their own wittiness, and personality and maintaining a level of chemistry that’s UNMATCHED with most manhwas. The characters talking about philosophical books and dissing the author for making things overly convoluted, or making bets out of who can manage to embroid a pattern better feels like something straight up a Jane Austen novel, and that’s high praise for a period-themed romance manhwa.

Side characters are great too, full of personality and their own stories but never taking the focus away from the main leads for too long. Seriously, if you are looking for a romance manhwa to read give this a try!

Cons/rant
- Boring story
- The art was not my cup of tea. Maybe others might like the old school vibe, but I certainly don't. Even upon seeing the art I still wanted to give it a chance since a lot of people liked it.
- Used predictable manhwa otome isekai tropes
- The ending seemed like a Raeliana rip off
... - I don't understand why people hyped this story as much as they did
- Half the story is useless drivel, the other half is ridiculous misunderstandings that didn't need several chapters to resolve
- It's a romance manhwa but it takes 100 chapters for them to even kiss, forty to hold hands properly.
- If you have something else to read, read that. Not this.
