Yoshida's poor popularity and constant teasing are caused by his unfortunate looks. He's short, scrawny, and is infamous for his almond-shaped eyes and the evident scar which plagues his left cheek. Just when Yoshida's school life continues to spiral down, Satou, the school's celebrity, confesses his love for him! But this is not good news at all when Yoshida assumes the worst in Satou since it's tough to trust those of high social status. With the help of both old and new friends, uncovering past memories, and the life-saving sound of the school bell, will Yoshida ever escape his bitter charades to his true sweet and friendly side?

Aitsu no Daihonmei breaks every rule in the romance handbook in the name of mixed signals, shared memories, and the sweet surrender of after school liaisons! Satou's feelings are crystal clear as Yoshida struggles in concealing his true colors. Blast off to the crazy adventures of Yoshida and Satou as the fruits of their labor grow of both their relationship, and of themselves as well.

This manga... Words cannot describe my love for this series. I check for updates every day, sometimes twice. It's urging on the side of obsession.

Needless to say, this is my favourite shounen ai manga yet. Basically, it's a very light story with lots of humor, cuteness and uke abuse. So if you like seeing ukes being abused and sadistic semes this will definitely be your cup of tea. I know it's mine.

Also, don't be fooled by the tag and think this is yaoi, because so far there hasn't been any action. It doesn't keep us perverts from hoping though, eh?

This is probably one of the legendary ten yaoi that we're actually grateful to exist. Indeed, as a self titled yaoi basher, this one is genuinely enjoyable.

The difference between this adorable little thing and thousands of other... UNPLEASANT yaoi manga is that this manga does not force any incredibly awkward sexual agenda. It is realistic considering it's a goddamn manga that has a goal of making cute gay memes ( basically ) but also has enough hard to believe cute scene that you can only wish will happen to you. It is in fact more of a shounen-ai rather than a yaoi but most of read more

do I have to say anything else? Lol. I have fallen in love with the series at first read. This really is one of the best SHOUNEN AI I have read so far. And it didn't disappoint the fangirl inside of me.

I screamed and laugh at every page and chapter of this manga.

Yoshida and Satou are an interesting couple and you would love them and their story.

So I highly recommend this series to those shounen ai/yaoi fans that likes to read a new and refreshing manga. :)

His Favorite will forever leave a lasting impact on me. Not for its tear-jerking plots or artistic views, but simply in how much enjoyment the author brings out from the reader.

Story: 9/10
As a slice-of-life manga, don't expect too much. Half the "story" is watching the characters drive the plot themselves, which, past hindsight, is a lot more difficult to do than others give credit for. There has yet to be any giant arcs longer than Satou's past which is a shame because I would like to see the mangaka go all out like that again. They have a unique sense of humor that understands when read more
