Definitely good one in the manhwa scene right now but those who have read the LTN know this is some top tier 10/10 shit.

The story starts really great with the protagonist being a very unique character, furthest from the conventional protagonist, with the first chapter making him more and more of a potential villain and I feel like it succeeded in the sense that right now in the story, he is not the best person at heart and does not care about you if it doesn't benefit him. At the same time, he is not some stone-cold killer 14 year olds would like, but just ... someone who prioritizes himself over most other people but would not harm someone for no reason. Basically, a much more realistic personality and attitude. The side characters are actually amazing not yet at one piece levels, but they have the same potential. The villains are top notch and genuinely give you a feeling of ominousness. The strength development and the in world time pacing are in my opinion perfect. Their are small time skips in between to show time passing but there is absolutely no huge time skip in the story that completely changed the characters and increased the power level of the protagonist in a more believable proportion which is something that a lot of series overlook but greatly appreciated.

The overall story is very cliche with a reincarnated protagonist. In his previous life he was a nobody, got banished from his clan. In his new life, the main character will do anything to avoid this. He will get some new kind of power. The main character is alright, he is strong and arrogant since he has knowledge from his previous life. The supporting characters are nice, nothing special to be honest.

Honestly, the whole story is very bland. I've read countless of these stories and this one is mid at best. Nothing new or original. If you have read "Solo Leveling" (the OG of ... this type of story) or "Revenge of the Baskerville Bloodhound", this is almost identical. Save your time by reading something else!

1) You haven't read a manhwa of this style (read Solo Leveling instead)
2) You have currently nothing to read / you're up to date with everything you're currently reading
3) You have read Solo Leveling and you're missing that kind of story but do not want to re-read Solo Leveling

There's some cool art and some fun fight scenes, but this manhwa has very little sense of worldbuilding and not a lot of consistent characterization. Conflicts pop up and get resolved within just a couple of chapters at the author's convenience, often in ways that contradict previously-established facts. This makes the entire story seem like its being written chapter-by-chapter, without a plan.

Maybe my expectations are too high, but I'm having trouble buying into the stakes or getting emotionally invested in the characters when they transparently exist only to serve the power fantasy. That being said, if you're specifically looking for a power fantasy, then ... you'll probably enjoy this. The protagonist is always one step ahead of or one level above whoever his current enemy might be, and that can be satisfying in its own way.
