"Promising" is the word I would use to describe MARRIAGETOXIN.
It's rare for characters to build such a genuine friendship as quickly as this one, but the circumstances and character writing for Gero and Kinosaki make it refreshing and believable. I'd also like to give a shout-out to the power system. It's a soft one, with lots of wiggle room to be used narratively; which is okay because it's not the focus of the story.

MarriageToxin or MarriagexToxin is an very interesting manga in my opinion. The story revolves around a man named Gero who belongs to a clan of poison users. He one day meets a girl/boy (not confirmed) named Kinosaki, and Kinosaki helps him to find a wife so that his clan could continue or else his lesbian sister would have to marry a guy and produce babies. This was a synopsis of the story without spoiling.

I’m only 9 chapters in, but Marriagetoxin has a well developed storyline and good pacing. That’s the cliff notes version, now into greater detail. Marriagetoxin is about Hikaru Gero, an assassin for hire of the poison clan, who has to get married to succeed said clan. He does so reluctantly because the clans’ other option is his sister who is already in a relationship with another woman. He is however pretty woeful when interacting with women, and with persistence enlist the help of Mei Kinosaki to aid him in his search for a wife. This has been a very relatable and intense yet ...

A unfound gem wouldn't be a half bad way to describe MarriageToxin.
MarriageToxin focus’s on two characters a killer you cant help to adore and a adorable goofy femboy and they handle them perfectly. I don't see realistic relationships much in manga but this is definitely a exception as their bond growing and motivation truly did make sense and was enjoyable to watch. The battle system is fairly creative and enjoyable not bound by many set rules which makes it fun to watch and gives it a nice vibe that makes it feel free. Naturally this isn't the most serious manga and it really doesn't have to be ...

Marriagetoxin is an ongoing manga that's an absolute joy to read and it needs more recognition, please give it a chance!
The art is extremely solid, if not fantastic. The panels are stuffed with details that are easy to miss if you're flying through the material, but they do so much to elevate the work as a whole—the amount of care and attention put into this aspect is actually impressive. Action scenes are crisp, easy to follow, and never boring to look at. The characters, while not anything extraordinary, are strong.
