At first attracted by the acid colors and lush 70s aesthetic of the cover, I discovered a story that, although simple, felt quite different from your everyday yaoi.
Without feeling the need of resorting to overused tropes or fanservice plots that serve more as an excuse to get to the racy scenes, the story takes time showing the changing relationship of the main characters. The way Takahashi Hidebu conveys emotion with dialogue, but especially through the art, felt very honest and straightforward.
The highlight of this volume is undoubtedly the art. It creates this bubbly, dream-like atmosphere that makes you wonder if what you read really
...
happened or if it was just a product of the imagination of the characters.
