WARNING this is a very mature manga (NSFW), I started it randomly because I went onga bonga, big snake and what I am left with is a feeling of just, wtf.
First of all, it has themes of sacrifice, death, prostitution, grape and more, it is a pretty dark but well-thought-out manga, though at times I felt a little sick reading it. Some scenes were really heavy like the story of Kinu (side character) and her struggles to survive as well as the (future) monks' backstory.

I have seen that the series have received unfavorable comments due to the graphic intercourse between a woman and a snake deity so I'm here to balance out the view. That is to say, I love the story. It's a great read for me! (don't know what this says about me tho...)
I think the intimate depiction really adds to the charm of the story which already has intriguing plot, dark but alluring art and a diverse set of characters. Why? Why did I even picked up series featuring graphical sex with completely non anthropomorphic monster with two spike covered cocks? I don't know, but I do regret what I have seen there. Frankly, this series is utterly disgusting. I could have been a cecent story, if it spared us, viewers graphical sex scenes.
