primarily action/supernatural shounen + seinen from the past 10 or so years with limited members on MAL. some is finished, some was cancelled, some is still publishing. mostly shorter series. varying levels of quality. being on this list doesnt mean it's perfect, but i think more people should check it out. volume count for publishing series relates to how many are available in english online.

updates at my own pace + when i find the time to read new things.

Each of these failed series got a vocal cult following on the week they launched. People across social media assumed they were guaranteed to be the next big thing, based on nothing but first impressions and personal headcanon. Of course, that isn't how any of them turned out, and even to this day many of those cult fans can't accept the outcome. Not all that different from what would later happen to 'Star Wars: The Acolyte'. They remain as cautionary tales about what happens when you count your chickens before they hatch.

A revenge. A vengeance. A vendetta. A retribution...
What sweet words to discribe justice...

I absolutely love to follow the journey of a shattered (wo)man with an iron will to avenge something (s)he loved, but lost.

A revenge is an old (but gold) trope, and i felt like doing a stack of it.
So here is one with Mangas that i've personally read, and contains a plot with a predominence of justice made by (wo)man.

Weekly Shonen jump… a magazine that has been around for decades and has produced gems such as Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Death Note and so on. However, while the magazine has produced many beloved series there have been many that have not received the same treatment. This list will cover all of the weekly Shonen jump series that have gone undepreciated if and if not deserved, and ultimately were axed from the magazine. (Still working on list)

Manga that are not very long that you can read in one sitting.
Lots of short story collections, 1-8 Volume series, and oneshots. One sitting does not mean a short time mind you.

I binge read most of these in one sitting. But not all of them. However i will include ones that i think could probably be read in one sitting.

Includes all recent mangas cancelled in the Weekly Shonen jump. Does not include on hiatus Mangas, cancelled mangas for ethical reasons (Act age), and transferred series.
I define a cancelled series as any manga ending due to low popularity early in its serialization. Since the list can only be by 50 the list spans from 2018 to 2023.

Although these mangas have been cancelled for lack of an audience or supporter by the Weekly Shonen Jump, this doesn't mean they aren't valuable. Some of these contain incredibly interresting premises, the first work of a soon-to-be big author or simply a fun read. The mangakas that published those works put a lot of energy and love into them; for that alone they deserve respect.
