Ouroboros was a random find as I went through newly finished Manwhas, and I am absolutely delighted that I found it. Please be warned, this story is NOT to be taken lightly, so I do have to put a disclaimer. I will also keep this brief as I wish to be spoiler-free.
** If you are experienced (or know someone who has) sexual abuse/rape, please be aware this story may be hard to read **
As someone who is unfortunately familiar with the subject, I wish to say this was a bit hard of a read at times. The author did amazing work to portray accurate depictions

of what a person can go through when faced with trauma from mental and sexual abuse and rape. Through clever layouts of panels and an art style that sets it all apart from the normal Manwhas, Ouroboros completely pulled me in. It's almost scary how easy it is to relate to a story like this due to the realism in the actions. Unforunately it's all too common for individuals with these traumas to "go off the deep end" in their lives as they try to make sense of their abuse, fill in the holes in their mind, or even rely on substances as an escape. Don't get me wrong, this story isn't all rough and packed with the struggles of mental anguish. This series is absolutely correct in being classified as "Smut" on many websites, as there is a hefty amount of (deliciously portrayed) erotica. The story does a fantastic job of addressing the descent of madness, and what it's like to try to survive.
I absolutely love Ouroboros. It's real. It's harsh. It's more hot than it has a right to be. And it also hurts, due to how relatable it can be for us. Remember that this is a story.
Just a final thought: Please if you or someone you know has gone through such abuse, none of you are alone. Unfortunately it is more common than we'd like, and we have to support each other. I wish for you all to be safe, stable, and healthy.
