This manga had everything to be good, but it got lost by the sexual abuse scene that didn't add anything to the plot. As I understand it, this scene served to emphasize Kyo's selfless trait and nothing more. Not even the fact that his sister saw the scene helped anything in the plot, as she hardly appears afterwards, but it would be very difficult to develop something of the characters in a measly 9 chapters.
