I think this is the hardest Shikke story I've ever read, mainly because of the sexual violence and talking more about what it's like not wanting to come out.

First, it's a cute and classic romance that Shikke loves to do between someone more inexpressive and someone more extroverted. They are so different, that at first I couldn't even imagine how something would start between them, but I loved their dynamic.
It just leaves me a little confused as to what would be consensual at times and what would not be. I was VERY bothered by some moments where it seemed like Shizuno was forcing Kiumi, especially ... in their first sexual interaction.
After that there are several moments and characters talking about how they were raped and forced to do something sexual and it's very sad, it seems like they don't understand what's wrong and I don't know if it was the characters or the author. Is this something common in Japan?
I understand a little how this happens in the community, because I'm already part of it and have seen something like this, but I think this manga deals with a strange normality.

But it even has its good moments, with Shizuno dealing with his traumas and fear, with the two learning to make concessions in a relationship. I feel like from then on it started to become more serious about the way it represented sexual trauma.
Kiumi is very unconcerned about everything, including sexual diseases, so it's inevitable not to want to protect him and that's basically the basis of their relationship. Shizuno wants to protect him, Kiumi is delighted by this. I was surprised which of the two made it harder and took longer to accept a relationship, but it's cute.

I don't know, I think they're really cute together, so I was really torn between liking it because I like the couple and not liking it because there are a lot of problematic things in the story.
