It must be one of the mangas with more conveniences that have ever crossed my face. However, ironically, for the protagonist there are rather few; the rival detective is the one who gets almost all of them this time. Very cool also the conveniences of characters that, coincidentally, with how big Japan is, are always there to be found when the plot requires them to do so. There are tons of plot holes, and the author simply overlooks too many details that are essential for a psychological thriller like this work.

On the other hand, the atmosphere in general is very well done: it transmits an ... appalling despair, sadness and tension, as well as it makes you empathize with the protagonist despite the atrocities he commits, although the quality of the writing is not up to par with the rest. It is simply a work with which you suffer more than enjoy, something that is evident with the evolution of a certain character that I will not mention for spoilers reasons; in that aspect, congratulations. The premise and the use that is given to time loops are interesting; however, this further accentuates the mangaka's shortcomings as a writer, as he leaves behind a fair share of plot holes.

In the end of the day, the concept, the atmosphere and the hook are all great. A pity that the mangaka fell short in the planning of events.

Suspension of Disbelief to the max level

Quick emotional thoughts: I feel like people are giving this manga too much credit. The premise is really interesting and it's what got me hooked onto it, but about halfway it just got way too silly. Things started to just happen for no reason with no explanation, and I wish I could give examples on here but it would be spoilers for those that want to read it. It's a real shame too, since last night I went to bed excited to read more, only for this time I'm going to bed annoyed at how it became.

Now with ... this out of the way, lets go into a bit more detail overall:

Story: 4/10 As stated in the opener, the premise of this story is really interesting, and to it's credit they did do the time-loop scenario very well here. That's about where the good I can think of ends when it comes to the overall story. For the bad, way too many things fall into place for convenience sake just to keep the plot going. Characters are introduced last minute for this, the MC is suddenly a magician for this and knows exactly how things will play out without the time loop, and the timeline in quite a few scenarios stop making sense just to speed things up for tension and the plot. One character even comes back later on just for the sake of the plot, which actually makes the entire past however many chapters moot if you put any thought into it.

Characters: 4.5/10 Sheesh. Everyone is crazy for crazy's sake. In the beginning for the first few characters it made sense why they would be so quick to go insane, but later on it becomes ridiculous. For instance, for the MC and the first "love" interest it makes sense why they would be quick on becoming, well, psychopaths, considering their backgrounds and what they've already had to go through. It was really well done. For the rest though, especially the detective and the second love interest, they descended way too quickly. I can understand the detective to an extent, the whole "crazy detective that will do anything to solve the case" trope, but he's still a detective. Regardless of his own personal vendetta, getting to that role isn't an easy feat, and his tendencies probably would've gotten him psych eval'd before he ever made it to becoming a detective. Really the only redeemable character was the detective assistant.

Oh, and fairly quickly the MC gets a massive strength buff for no real reason. Suddenly he's able to take on the police and a Kendo practitioner with no issue, as well as overpowering basically anyone and everyone aside from one instance when the plot needed him to be weak.

Actually, let me speak real quick about the background characters, especially in regards to the police. They're all terrible...that's all. Just terrible. Stupid, moronic, idiotic, weak, fill in whatever negative adjective you want and it would probably fit well here.

Setting: 6.342/10 Japan. That's basically all I can say, just Japan. One day they're in Tokyo, next day they're out in the sticks. Just wherever the plot needs them to go.

Art: 9/10 Honestly the art is pretty great in this manga. I have no real complaints with it.

I guess that's about it. If you want to kill time and you're in an edgy mood, go for it. If you want a good, thought-provoking story that will stick with you, this ain't it. Overall, 6/10. Not a complete waste of time, but I wouldn't put it in my top 100.

High school student Kusakabe Makoto has to work all day to raise money for the treatment of his younger sister, who suffers from a serious illness. The father is unemployed, the mother ran away, leaving the children, bullying at work ... Despite all this, he does not lose hope and continues to live for her sister. But having learned that she did not have long, Makoto falls into despair. Fear of the unknown causes him to take a different look at the value of human life.

Story: A simple story (what to expect from a gore manga). Of course, this one follows the same pattern as ... all manga in this genre, a good protagonist who has something bad happen to him that makes him go crazy and have the police behind him, only that this work has a very interesting resource: time travel. Thanks to these, our protagonist can kill without anyone discovering him, except for the mad detective who is even crazier than the protagonist. He has a good pace, I have to say, but the conclusion is very bad. The reason why he gets his time-traveling powers are absurd, and the end of the main character gave me even satisfaction to see how it ended. 06/10, and that score is for innovating in something

Characters: The protagonist, Makoto, goes from one day to the next from being a little angel to becoming a potential psychopath, with hardly any development, his sister for whom he does all this I am not going to talk about her since she has more appearances in the mind of the protagonist than in the world of this story, appearing very little. The daughter of the prostitute she "saves" is also another little prostitute who is very heavy, has 0 intelligence and is only there to touch the balls, her reappearance after Makoto abandoned her is saving, she is jealous of the protagonist's sister and she reappears as Oolong from Dragon Ball (if you read this manga, you'll see what I mean). Then there's the crazy detective who goes after Naoto, who I found interesting at first but ended up liking him badly, nothing to say about him. The only two characters that for me are saved are the detective's assistant who looks like a cat and gives us fanservice and Makoto's second sister, one of the few well-written. And yet you know what I'm telling you? which are not even so bad. Despite having criticized some of them very harshly, I don't dislike them at all, except for the miniprosti that is insufferable. For me, the characters section is a 07/10

Design/drawing: very graphic, something I like about gore mangas because when you go to read a style manga you look for blood and strong panels. The design of the characters seems very good to me, even the Oolong is very well drawn, the landscapes and backgrounds are also very good and detailed, for me it is a 07/10

Entertainment: I'm hooked, so why am I going to refuse. Although I repeat, I did not like the ending, that revelation of where the powers of time travel come from, more than half of the manga I read in a single day, and there are 55 chapters that are said soon but take time to read having other things to do. In this section another 07/10 will also be taken that could even go up to 08/10

Conclusion: another gore, simple, but with a very distinctive resource that takes advantage of it very well, although adding all these previous notes we get a 6.75 almost 7, I'm going to keep it at 6 because it's simply good, with nothing to highlight
