Tasogare Memorandum is an episodic collection of scenarios which we experience through the protagonist, a high school girl who seems to always encounter and take interest in mysteries born of mundane scenarios. I found this series a while back by mere chance, and I'm honestly very glad I did because it honestly blew me away.
From the scenarios themselves to the characters acting them out, the author manages to capture an impressively candid depiction of reality. All of the stories and characters feel real and sincere, and through most of it, there is a strange sense of light mystery and intrigue pulls you to keep reading.

The author manages to properly navigate all of drama they introduce, and the story manages to keep an optimistic tone despite dealing with heavier topics at times, which is perfect for this kind of comfortable niche.
This is a work that resonated with some of my own philosophies, and is something I'll probably have on my mind long after reading. The stories it tells aren't anything groundbreaking, but that's part of what makes it great. If you are someone who enjoys the mundane aspects of life, you will likely enjoy this work.
