At first , it's just a generic manga, new transfer girl, a bad girl from Kansai at that, wreaks havoc in a normal high school and is suspected to bully the so-nice class president. Super generic but very sharp and fast-paced.
Story
Then you get the twist. Just like SpyXfamily or Hinamatsuri, Furyou Taimashi Reina uses your knowledge of manga stereotypes to subvert them in a hilarious way.
As an exorcist, Reina meets different yokai, ghosts and Japanese urban legends but it's always in a bizarre way. As I mentioned, the pace never calms down, it never drags but jumps from an arc to another.

Furyou Taimashi Reina is about a Delinquent Girl who's actually an exorcist. Being misunderstood by her peers (who can't see ghosts) she developed a bully persona so she can exorcise while bullying.
The first chapter has her scribbling insults on a desk that actually form a magic circle to exorcise a ghost. You can guess that the ongoing joke is, that she performs rituals that look like bullying to outsiders. Story: So far there are not many chapters released, I'll give it 7/10 for now Art: ... This manga is a great gem of a find among the less-than-mainstream stories featuring your typical ideas of exorcism and evil spirits. There are sufficient twists to make the concept feel more fresh, challenging the usual notion of uptight shamanistic rituals that are typical of exorcists. The length of the story and the fact it did get axed but still has an incredibly satisfying ending is also a bit of a feat.
