Synopsis

Hiyumi is an ordinary teenage girl who, when her father told her they were going to move to Nagano prefecture, immediately pictured life in one of the biggest, liveliest centers of Japan.

She never expected for them to move to one of the least populated towns in the area. A town which takes a mile-long walk to get to a single convenience store. A town where you can count the different families on one hand. That type of town.

Anyway, let’s watch Hiyumi experience her new life in the boonies.

Cute, refreshing, hilarious, and heartwarming!

First of all, I remember I added this manga to my PTR list because it has "cooking" as its theme, but this manga doesn’t give cooking theme content as much as I expected. Nevertheless, I found my enjoyment in more than just cooking here. The fun things that were accompanying my reading well were daily friendship and an unexplored, least populated town.

The storyline is average, but the way its main character, Hiyumi, is over-zealous and full of curiosity makes the story dynamic and fresh. I'll also never forget to mention that the additional 4-komas in every chapter are really entertaining. Speaking ...
