Synopsis

A skill useless from the beginning, "Restoration." Regardless, in order to save a childhood friend who sacrificed her body to protect him, Tooru spent twenty-five years developing the skill. Once completed, the skill could completely defy the world’s common sense. Tooru, the girl, the naughty child they picked up in a back alley, and the old landlord lady join together as companions, setting out on an adventure to become heroes. A man who lived through the depths of despair decided to move forward and widen his horizons.

Up to chapter 33 of the manga.
The story is just straight up well written, both the characters and the world have facets and are interesting. The manga tells about Tooru going on adventures as a semi experienced adventurer having years of training and being quite smart and stoic with cool companions that actually appear to be interesting plot wise.

The important antagonist all are pretty good written characters, they have motivations that feel real, real objectives and are not actually idiots. The strategic and creative thinking in battles is all based on before related information glimpsed from the story so I find it cool to see ...
