Synopsis

Born into a family of notorious womanizers, Akemitsu Akagami has been shunned from a young age and lumped in with his lineage as a skirt-chaser. As a result, he despises the Akagami way of life and vows to rescind the infamy of his family by staying celibate. But as fate would have it, Akemitsu falls in love at first sight on his way home from work one day. Unable to erase his feelings that are spiraling out of control, he resorts to his final measure—to practice as a monk and seal away his worldly desires.

Hoping to put his past behind him, Akemitsu travels to the nearest temple in order to receive Buddhist training. But fate tempts him once again: greeting him at the door is the girl he had fallen madly in love with, who lives in the very temple he wishes to train in.

I first found out about this manga from a single panel from a subreddit about anime and manga out of context and it seemed funny to me when I looked at said funny picture.
And oh boy was I right!
Now, is it a complete 10/10?
Of course not, hardly anything is perfect and deserves a perfect score, but the manga has regularly made me laugh and holds no punches back. I am also getting into Grand Blue as well since it has the same artist from this manga but the two so far seem a little different from another.
Its like comparing Nagatoro and One Punch Man.

I came for the art, I wasn't disappointed. This manga is about a guy who wants to train himself to become a monk and yet the circumstances make it quite difficult. One of the things monk do is to free themselves of worldly desires and yet he is greeted by a bunch of thic- I mean, gorgeous women. Yo, what the fuck. That's basically just Love Hina with a fresh coat of paint.
Dude goes to a Temple/ Inn to study/ get rid of his worldly sins, but surprise, it's full with beautiful women who hate him at first but then gradually fall for the dude.

Love Hina was THE trendsetter for harem Manga. And while the opinions may vary, it was undoubtedly influential and shaped the Mange landscape.

Temple on the other hand is dripping in mediocrity and has nothing new or exiting for it. No new twists, no new gags. Nothing. Hell, if the at least the MC wouldn't be so Beta it ...
