I started reading it because of the similarities with Grand Blue and I have to say that so far the humour has been solid and the art style really good.
The characters are enjoyable and the story is quite simple and straightforward, so if you're into deep and complex stories it's probably not the series for you
I definitely recommend you give it a try, especially if your into ecchi comedies and if you enjoyed Grand Blue I think you'll truly enjoy this series especially because some of the elements are also heavily used.
Overall quite entertaining and a good comedy.

I know a lot of folks are gunna draw parallels between this and Love Hina.

Here's the deal though:

1: This focuses on temple rites and rituals. Seems as though research has been done, so I'm learning as well as laughing.
2: Akemitsu has more of a personality than the Harem MC in Love Hina. Dude in that was just remarkably sturdy, which a lot of MC's usually are. Sadly, that's one of their few personality traits.

The story is a lot more straightforward in her than GBD. You have stakes and parameters to be met. Means that the jokes are a lot less, humorous this time ...

This manga is like a mix between Love Hina and Grand Blue.

Anyway, I find the story is more unique and straightforward compared to those two. While there were so many fan services in Love Hina, I prefer the ones in Temple which keeps the humor scenes in more realistic ways.

And the arts. I really like Yoshioka Kimitake's style for the female characters. If you enjoy Grand Blue, you may chuckle to see so many familiar faces in this manga lol.

The characters were good, but quite typical compared to other manga. Each character development was also good, but again, nothing ...

I came for the art, I wasn't disappointed. This manga is about a guy who wants to train himself to become a monk and yet the circumstances make it quite difficult. One of the things monk do is to free themselves of worldly desires and yet he is greeted by a bunch of thic- I mean, gorgeous women. The girls all have different personalities, some want to be responsible, others want to fool around. And some of that fooling around involves in things that trigger the "man of culture" inside men. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Despite the amount of eye candy, it has a fairly ...

I first found out about this manga from a single panel from a subreddit about anime and manga out of context and it seemed funny to me when I looked at said funny picture.
And oh boy was I right!
Now, is it a complete 10/10?
Of course not, hardly anything is perfect and deserves a perfect score, but the manga has regularly made me laugh and holds no punches back. I am also getting into Grand Blue as well since it has the same artist from this manga but the two so far seem a little different from another.
Its like comparing Nagatoro and One Punch Man.
You ...
