So what does this ridiculously long title about an adventuring man with a daughter can give us?
The formula for on which the manga is written is pretty simple. Take the episodic/arc-based adventures from any adventure fiction, add the powerfantasy from isekais, then spice it with some family relationship and an adorable daughter that make your heart melt. Make it into a more lighthearted comedy centered work and that is it. It may seem mish-mash of ideas but the manga pulls it of very well.

places kind of like Kino no tabi although not as philosophical. The fantasy setting seems generic, but the writer tweaked it a little bit to add some depth and flavor to it.
The characters are enjoyable. Douglas may be the strongest mage but that doesn't make him the best caretaker in the world and that makes him more believable and interesting.Next is Ravi. She is a shy, reserved and kindhearted girl who knows very little about the word. Her expressions makes the comedy as well as the adorable, heartwarming parts. Both of them are developing throughout the story in slow relaxed pace.
The art is refined. Not jaw dropping but serves the manga well.
As for the themes of the manga it would be the bonds of a family as well as the new start in life. Both of this are true for our duo and some minor characters. it is too early to say how deep it goes but the main focus was never this much philosophical.
The worst part of the manga is probably the start. In order to get to the adventuring together, the writer had to rush the introduction and the meet up of our main duo. Which in turn makes some early emotional moment fall short.
Overall the manga neither want to revolutionize nor subvert anything. Want it wants is for the reader to have fun and it achieves exceptionally well. It is a very enjoyable easy read that surely put a smile on anyone face who reads it. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested.
