I took a few days break before reading this manga. I both got distracted by doing something else and I also wasn't very motivated to read it due to the fact that the main pairing here is Kazuki and Chiharu. It surprised me that I started to like them. There's been some character development and their relationship evolved in an unexpected direction. And Chiharu is getting more and more infatuated, if not even obsessed, with Kazuki. I still don't think their

relationship is a healthy one, but Kazuki doesn't seem as easily influenced or as helpless as he did earlier in the series. He actually seems to transform into someone quite scary.
What I didn't like this time was the narrative of Chiharu overworking himself, the idea that if he wouldn't be able to do his job it would take more than three people do take over his work. That's not okay. I don't care how capable he is, this is not something that should be seen as an achievement. It's nothing more than reckless behaviour. Chiharu has no self preservation skills?
And, of course, there's also the flock of wet birds at Chiharu's feet. I suspect that's going to happen to Kazuki too once they learn about his true identity. But forgetting about all that, this pairing took an interesting turn and I'm actually curious about what's going to happen next regarding them.
