If one tried to judge this as a piece of art, it would be hard to say much. It's a simple, silly thing, this story. But if you look at it for what it is (a yaoi manga, pornography with some romance and comedy thrown in) it's very successful.
I'd say if you like best-friends-to-lovers, you'll likely enjoy this story. The characters are endearing, they both feel pretty realistic as far as foolish university dudes are concerned and their dynamic together is really sweet from the very beginning.
