Peer pressure is an interesting plot device to drive a story, especially when the narrative revolves around a delicate matter. Nude Model is a story with a simple premise; two characters using each others bodies for their own ends.
The art style is simple with elements of excellent light effects and anatomy in select scenes. The two main characters are fleshed out surprisingly well in their respective "screentime" (or page time considering its a manga) at a fairly generic school/ studio setting.
Being a one-shot the story is short and sweet, but hints at a continuation of the characters relationship after the story's conclusion.

I initially decided to check out this one-shot because of my intense love and fascination with Blue Period, a fantastical manga written and drawn by the same author, Yamaguchi Tsubasa. And just as I expected, the story left me with need for more chapters. Nikochin (Omose) is a highschool delincuent who decides to make a bet with his friends. They propose him to sleep with Natsume, a straight-faced classmate who is only interested in drawing. He has three days to play the prank. Because of the one-shot format of the story, we don't really get to know a lot about the characters. ... |
