Kyou mo Onnanoko wo Kouryaku shita feels like a manga that does exactly what it says on the tin. At it's core, it is a very simple yuri gag manga with a heavy focus on the main character, Kasumi, making friends and developing her personality. That being said, the "personality" she develops is perhaps better described as a set of interests, as her actual personality ends up remaining surprisingly static.
