Background

The one-shot Nejishiki is considered Tsuge's most famous work and has become one of the key examples of avant garde manga. The one-shot was published in English as Screw-Style in the American magazine The Comics Journal, February 2003 (No. 250). It was also adapted into a PC-9800 game in 1989

Ooba Denki Mekki Kougyou-sho was published in English as Oba's Electroplate Factory in the avant-garde alternative comics magazine RAW, May 15, 1990 (No. 2).

Japanese film director Teruo Ishii adapted Gensenkan Shujin and Nejishiki into live-action films which released in 1993 and 1998, respectively.

Mod Note: This review was initially posted for the one-shot, Chico, and was subsequently merged into Nejishiki.

[Story]

[Art]
Its not fine, the characters doesn't seem to have been drew with effort... Except for the little bird I guess...

[Character]
It's really short, and because of that they cant really show the true face of the characters, but they tried, and it sucked, they make you say:
"...o...ok? why is this here? this doesn't have read more
