One Line Review: Don't waste your time.

So this is my first manga review, and I only felt compelled to write one because I wanted to give potential readers a different opinion of the OVERALL series than the Top Reviews do. Honestly, I have no idea how they would rate it so highly, if they actually finished it.

I decided to read this series since I thought it would be similar to The Breaker, and was well rated by the Top Reviews. As you can tell by my score, I did not like it and hope to spare other readers from wasting their ... time. Actually the manga was quite decent ..... up to a certain point. I'll briefly list what I thought was good, and what was not.

Pros:
- The Art was good
- A MC who is sort of arrogant and enjoys fighting
- How important events that played out in the past of the school, gradually get revealed from many characters point of view. This provides some intrigue and advancement to the plot, as events gradually build up to a supposed "final fight(s)"

Cons:
- MC is absent from considerable portions of story. He also does not get into as many fights as you might expect.
- Quite a few plot holes and nonsensical things throughout story
- Although it's a fighting manga, I believe that there were quite a few things that could be resolved through some conversation. It's like these characters are too stupid to talk to one another and realize that their goals are maybe not so different.
- Many characters have pretty stupid/trivial reasons for their actions throughout story. Bringing me to my next point, and why I rated this manga so poorly:
- The ENDING WAS S**T. THE WORST ENDING I HAVE EVER SEEN in manga or anime. I may have rated this manga a 6 or 7, if it wasn't for the utterly garbage ending starting from maybe CH 78-79. SPOILERS BELOW...

SPOILERS NOW: So out of nowhere, one of the main characters decides to personally kill pretty much the entire school including their friends, for some stupid reason. Not only will this nonsense rub you the wrong way, but this has the additional effect of not allowing ANY of the fights you were expecting from the "final fights" of the Reunion students vs Traditional students, that you thought was going to happen just a chapter before. And finally, the character that will fight this other character, just barely starts the fight before the manga abruptly ends. Additionally you should know that the manga was rushed near the end and cancelled. So there will not be any sequel, further locking in this garbage ending.

So I don't recommend you read this manga. I hope I have helped some people save their time.

In very simple terms. The characters are bland. there's no depth in this manga, it'd complete garbage in my opinion. I've read thousands of manga tried this out because people preached how good it it was or comparable to Breaker. It..is...not such an insult to such a great manga this crap deserved to be canceled in my opinion. Everyone sees things differently but to me it was just so flawed and lacked real emotion.


Characters: i didn't see anyone worth mentioning main character is dumb as bricks and does everything in which you should not do. Main enemies of so called mc lacked actual ground ... for their feelings of pride anger or resentment. All of it seemed like pity emotions with no real meaning behide it.

Plot: Seemed to me like they were trying to create some sense of pain and sorrow in this story but it was all to rushed and none of it actaul felt like it should be something to hold a grudge over. Here's a main point the student council worship vera but for no reason they say she brings balance but quite clearly she does not the characters don't even know what is going on and can't see that their beliefs are so flawed.

Art: nice art always to be expected for manga's that are so talked about.


Overall opinion: i feel the story needed more depth to it, real meaning and REAL reactions to certain situations. By this i mean if you were to find out ''hey my buddy just tricked me kicked the crap out of me. Then broke my ki core''. No biggie though i'm going to continue worshiping him like REALLY. Also this so called Vera doesn't like to take blame for anything and tries to push blame on to others , or act as if none of it was her problem to begin with. Somehow , amazingly enough everyone agrees with it. Story is frustrating if you have common sense to not be lead by such ludicrous actions.

This is my first review. I don't usually bother with this but i had to make and exception for this manga because all I see are reviews saying it was great when it was just a stinking pile of...you know what.

First of all, the story goes to hell after about 30 chapters. I don't mean there are plot holes or that it doesn't make sense but it just goes from a good development to a very bad, frustrating and anger inducing one. If you don't like to get angry this is not for you.

Second of all, the main character is kinda cool but you start ... to see him less and less in the manga(at one point he's missing from 10 or more chapters one after another). I did say he is kinda cool, but there is also a bad part to him. He cannot make any decision by himself(besides fighting). He doesn't even try to see who's wrong or right, he just follows what his "friends" are doing.

And last of all, all the characters in this manga/manhwa are hypocrites. Nobody has a justified/right reason. Sure, you can expect that the villain cares only about himself, but you wouldn't think that the "good guys" are doing the same thing, right? The villains and the heroes in this story are like 2 sides of the same coin. They might be following different purposes but their methods of achieving them are completely the same. Crush whoever or whatever stands in front of your path using any method necessary.

Maybe this will not make sense to any of you and as such we cannot see eye to eye. I was not able to completely explain this because I'm not that good with words but if you feel like me and think this is utterly bad from any point of view you can pm me and tell me what you thought was bad about it. I'm really looking forward to it.
