The concept of saving one's daughter is touching but execution feels muddled. The dungeon plotline clashes with the family story. Events happen conveniently without solid explanations.
Art: 8/10
The art is high quality with detailed environments and expressive characters. The cute daughter steals every scene she's in. Action sequences are nicely dynamic.
Characters: 5/10
The doting father is endearing but lacks complexity. Supporting characters are underdeveloped. The precocious daughter strains believability.

I appreciated the heartwarming family moments but found the disjointed plot and shallow characters made this a mixed bag overall.
With tweaks to blend the genres better, this could be great. As is, the story doesn't deliver on its emotional promise. But still a decent casual read.
