Super Mario Manga adventure is NOT a good manga, it's supposed to be a comedy manga for kids, but the humor isn't funny. too much repetitive (pee-pee caca jokes, explosions, characters explaining obvious jokes, more explosions, no sense jokes, ...
)It just look like Fast & Furry-ous with mario characters .



Art :
+ : Looks like a cartoon, simple charadesign (chibi)
- : Charadesigns are too simple, Luigi and Mario have the same charadesign, not possible to recognize them, except with with cap. sometimes it's imcomprehensible, with a lot of effects, onomatopoeias and division boxes.

Characters :

+: Diversity of characters, a lot from the video games (old bosses or characters from obscure games)
- : Personality doesn't fit with the original format, but it's not supposed to be a faithful adaptation, it's ok.



To conclude, this manga is funny if you're 7 yo and you put your brain down for reading it. Some moments are funny, but 75% of the manga is cringe and not funny

Super Mario-kun is a manga series made for younger children, although it does a bad job at the comedy part, there is a lot of toiler humor, bad puns, nudity, slurs, etc. It's like the Mario version of Teens Titans Go but in a bad way.

Even though there isn't a digital version of the manga, there are a few chapters available online, and there isn't an official english translation of the manga, aside from the "best of" collection of this manga released by Viz.

It adapts every Mario game by release order since 1990, but ruined by the said toilet humor and other stuff that I ... said before. There are some good parts, but most of it is just cringe and unfunny.

1/10 - Better not buy any of the volumes of this manga or else it will f*ck up the mental health of children, if you already own any of the volumes you should be ashamed of yourself if you bought those and thought this is a good children's comic book. This makes Captain Underpants look like a religious comic book series for children compared to this.
