It has to be like a 2 seasons cause a LOT happens here. I'd say 16 episodes each so around 22 episodes.

I was hoping that arc 6 was gonna be short, i gues we'll wait another 4 fucking years i dont wanna end up like a ugly bastard ojisan mc when S5 airs. MT fans sure have it great

arc 6 is 5 volumes long just like S3. it has less action/fight scenes I believe. probably 20-24 episodes lengthwise

Kobayashi Yuusuke (Subaru's Voice Actor) said that we ain't gonna wait another 4 years for season 4. It could air either in mid or late 2026.

The only reason the number 22 is thrown around is cause one of the earliest leaks of Re:Zero Season 3 was that it was going to have 38 episodes. Originally, Season 4 was supposed to be part of Season 3. It was later changed because of delays and marketing reasons. Since Season 3 has 16 episodes naturally Season 4 should have 22 episodes. That's math. But that leak was very old and likely outdated by now. So it's possible it might not be 100% accurate anymore. After all there was another rumor that the first episode of Season 4 will be extended (tho not as long as S3 Ep 1).
