Heard Its the opposite actually, she waited 5 years and then she came to look for Kaoru. They stayed 8 years in the cave. Heard the movie had some translation problems because Sub. I could be wrong tho

No I checked. The date on the phone when Kaoru enters the cave was 2005. The date on the phone when Anzu got the msg of "I love you" from Kaoru was 2013. So she waited 8 years.

Kaoru didn't age, and they were the same age, so he's 17 physically. Legally they are the same age which is 30.

She waited 8 years, they spent 5 years in the cave, after she goes to find him back, hence when they come out together, they say it's been 13 years
