Universe 1 -
The original universe where most of Stone Ocean takes place. This universe ends with Pucci attaining Heaven.

Universe 2 -
The universe which was created after Pucci reaches Heaven. Everyone who has already died in the previous universe will lose themselves forever. The people who were alive will move on to this universe and retain their memories as "instinct".

People who have died will be replaced by alternate versions because a paradox can't exist where they don't exist at all. This is the Jolyne who was arguing with Jotaro.

Universe 3 -
Created when Emporio forces Pucci to reset again, but killing Pucci before it's fully reset. Another universe is created where the original Pucci is dead but an alternate version probably exists.

In this reset, due to Pucci also being different, Jolyne never ended up in jail. This is the Jolyne who picks up Emporio in the end.

would the other joestars still exist in this new third universe (like josuke and giorno)?

Yup. I think Araki confirmed that even Joseph was still alive.

And since they are alive, their stories are completely fine as well, which means that they still beat Kars, Kira and Diavolo in the same way. Josuke is still chilling in Morioh and Giorno is still the mob boss.

As for Jotaro, I don't think anything's confirmed, but I'm guessing that even his story must remain the same because otherwise Pucci wouldn't exist and the universe reset wouldn't happen, so this other Jotaro probably went through Part 3 too.

You might not have noticed but there were two universes created, one when Pucci first used Made In Heaven and another after Emporio killed Pucci with Weather Report

The steel Ball Run universe is the Irene universe but before Irene was born. It makes sense. Rohan survived it with his speed being able to meet his deadlines which explains Thus Spoke and JoJolands. Think about it

yes the only difference in the new world Is that pucci doesn't exist so everything with Dio still happens (except Dio meeting pucci). that's why Jolynes name changes and she loses the Jo in her name because she is no longer destined to fight anyone in this new universe. I believe Jotaro's name remains that same, meaning he still had to fight Dio and Joseph would've met Josuke's mom.

after pucci resets the world we see a Jolyne that isn't the real jolyne (isn't jolynes soul) same with jotaro. pucci made it where the people he killed souls would not be part of the new world. so after emporio killed pucci before pucci could complete the cycle, that whole dimension gets destroyed since pucci who controlled it or kinda was like a God to that dimension died it could not survive without him. then everything is reset into an alternate universe where pucci never existed since he didn't just die but his soul was destroyed along with his world. so the new jolyne (irene) and the rest of her friends are alive again and have their original souls just different paths in life. since pucci never existed in the new universe irene never has to fight and wouldn't become a stand user hence why she lost the Jo in her name. since Dio would Still exist all the events leading up to stone ocean would've still happened (except for Dio meeting pucci). that's how I interpreted the ending.

Frankly I don't care. The part was so good yet the ending so rushed and poor. You're telling me the strongest jojo, Jotaro gets killed by Pucci? Ok reasonable Pucci was very strong. Legit 20 minutes later SOME RANDOM CHILD kills the guy who bested the strongest protagonist in the series? yeah fuck out of here with that baloney. Meat ending, Pucci should have won the end.

Not necessarily. There is no definite proof saying that it's an alternate universe from the Jolyneverse. The Ireneverse could be the future events of the SBRverese. It expalins how Thus Spoke can take place during COVID even though the universe would have been reset at that time. Also, if you read the last panel of JoJolands chapter 2. I'm not trying to spoil it but look at it. "HE" also has the same stand unlike Josuke and Josuke8, and Dio and Diego.

No it isn't, sbrverse and ireneverse are completely different realities
Jotaro doesn't exist in the sbrverse
Neither josuke (j8suke is way too different) nor giorno nor jolyne

Part 6 ending does not create parts 7-9.

Ireneverse is the same as main universe, the main difference is that Pucci straight up doesn't exist in Ireneuniverse. Jotaro vs Dio did happen (tho Pucci might not had presented), Joseph did defeat Ultimate Kars, Giorno still have GER, it's just Pucci doesn't exist anymore. Also Irene is still a Joestar, she is just not a jojo anymore. Which mean if it's the same as sbrverse, she had to be in somewhere in the bloodline which is not the case.
