One piece is boring after the timeskip. I tried reading the manga but I don't understand the fights. So I want to watch one piece in one pace website. Should I watch or not watch

Do it. I tried watching One Piece a long time ago but it was so slow that I lost interest. I watched One Pace recently and it was soooo much better. It literally cuts most of the arcs in half by skipping the filler and condensing the actual content, and I don’t feel like I missed out on anything either.

What don’t you understand about the fights? And No, don’t watch One Pace, just read the manga again. If pacing is your issue then just go with the manga.

Why not One Pace? Because the manga is better?

I've never used One Pace so I can't say anything about that and I don't agree that the timeskip is boring. So many great moments even at the beginning.

I cannot recommend one pace enough. I agree one piece has a major pacing problem, probably one of my biggest issues with the anime. One pace made it much more enjoyable for me & when going back to some arcs I cannot believe how long some fights or plot points last. Give it a shot

I’d rather have the slower pacing with 1080p on my TV than faster pacing with 720p on my laptop. That’s just me tho

Everything past Water 7 to halfway through Wano has already gotten the One Pace treatment.

You have nothing to worry about pacewise if you're watching One Pace post-timeskip, with the benefit of improved animation quality as well, the more the show goes on (which a lot of people never give post-timeskip One Piece enough credit for)

Me personally don't even have Pacing problem, idk why people complain about Pacing it's good atleast better than watching 400's of fillers .

Yeah same here. I’m up to episode 647 and haven’t really felt the bad pacing. Other arcs that people have said are poorly paced seemed fine to me ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

I think it’s more watching weekly is where you feel the pacing. But for me I’m binging so

If you're sayin its bad because of pacing, you can't blame the studio tho..the anime is weekly sooo if they put too much manga canon, the anime will probably be like black clover

One pace is a good option that I really recommend, but at some point, you will have to wait for them to catch up to the current episodes in wano, so I'll recommend reading the manga after that. If you can't understand the fights, I will highly suggest reading the colored version to make your life easier.

It’s cause they have zero attention span.

Or..the pacing is slow. It gets especially bad in Wano, e.g. when a clip of npcs celebrating the festival lasted for over 2 minutes. No dialogue, no interesting events or fights - just one panel dragged out for far longer than it should be. It’s not about attention span it’s about how interesting it is. Adapting 12 pages per episode is ridiculously slow pacing compared to most other anime. It’s totally understandable since the anime is close to catching up with the manga, so rather than making filler they’d rather make slow paced episodes, but that doesn’t mean fans don’t have the right to complain about it.

Or maybe it's frustrating when it gets to the fights instead of having a clean badass looking battle they stop after every couple hits to show random npcs reacting, tons of still frames of a character for like 20 seconds where they only say "heh" or grunt, or Naruto type dialogue of "I'm gonna defeat you" "no I'm going to defeat you" 5 times per episode

watch at 1.5x, spare peak eps
I was anime only the entire time, I didn't feel that pacing was terrible or something. For me the anime had power of OST & Voice acting, and so I was hooked instantly for the anime version of 500+

I feel the same way. I can’t visualize the fights well in the manga. One piece pacing has become more like dragon ball z it takes about 5+ episodes for someone to “power up” or for any action to actually take place. Thankfully the anime recaps the episodes but it’s hard keeping track of the sequence of events in the fight scenes. It’s still worth watching in my opinion. Good luck tho

Oh I put it on hold was watching it in increments, obviously skipped any filler. I remember the story being pretty straightforward. I left off on season 12. If you like shounen adventure anime than you will probably like One Piece.

Manga is much better since the anime adds alot fluff so that Toei doesnt catch up to the manga. Also it took me a bit to understand the fights but out of everything I've read One Piece is up there imo when it comes to its panels and the fights. Its unique to say the least. That being said there is alot of build up in One Piece so the lows will be low. But usually the lows have lots of lore dumping/world building in them if youre into that kind of thing

Post time skip starts with fishman island which is one of the most boring arcs in my opinion but it gets so much better if you can just make it through plus the end of fishman island is pretty good

manga has literally no pacing issues, so that’s the best solution. yes the fights are a bit hard to understand at times but you can understand most of it and just wait for the fight to get animated later to see it all

After the timeskip. It gets better in Whole Cake Island Arc

Then it peaks on Wano Arc Second half which is Marineford-level

One Pace is incredible

You don't understand manga panels...? Also since you admit that you find the series boring post-TS, why not make the most common sense decision and simply drop the series?

I can understand your issue with the pacing it's not the best but it's not terrible either, one piece for me is more about the journey they take rather then fights and what not, it's about character development and the relationship with the crew, exploration of the world and uncovering secrets and mysteries, the fights are cool but it's definitely not the main driving point for one piece in my opinion, but yeah toei needs to change, I think if one piece was seasonal rather than weekly they'd benefit much more.
