This has to be one of the most cursed shit I’ve ever seen. Holy fuck look at Nezuko. To answer your question, bad writing can’t be fixed by genderswaping characters to appeal to the porn addicts. There would need to be a crazy amount of fanservice to cover up the many flaws of the story. And in that case it would not be nearly as popular as it is now since the only ones who would be watching would be the porn addicts. |

| No way, at least not Tanjiro. There’s already too many all-girl anime nowadays. How about asking if Lycoris Recoil would be as overhyped as it is if it were an all-male main cast with female secondary characters, i.e. if the beloved Chisato were male. The anime industry is full of female characters stealing the spotlight every season. I like some female characters, but there needs to be an uptick of quality male characters, not the bland male leads we keep getting in seasonal anime. |
