| From what I remember, it's just one of those bittersweet endings where everything ended up alright, but not in the happiest way. I think people just don't like that, but I respect any type of ending an author may go for. It reminds me of the Hunger Games ending, where they won the war and brought peace to the world, but Katniss came out of it a broken person, who lost the sole person she started the war to save (by her own side no less). Endings like these definitely leave me with mixed feelings, but that's what they're supposed to do. Obviously, we all want a happy ending, but that's not always realistic. |

| Can totally relate to this. Although I did find the last few episodes a bit weaker, I still found the ending to be good enough. It doesn't deserve the hate it gets. |
| idk man i don’t think it deserves hate but the final act of the anime is pretty underwhelming imo. i thought it was serviceable but if you read the manga i think the disappointment is definitely understandable. hate however, i just don’t get |

| People expected a better mystery and the overall pairing of main characters made no sense tbh. Still a great Drama/Thriller show though. As a mystery? Not so much. |
| It wasn't all bad it was just lack of build up , and too much romantic build up between the character who were fated to not being together , that's my problem , good for you if you enjoyed that but personally i couldn't digest it |
| Well I definitely don't think the ending is as bad as everyone says it is but when I watched it I had no sort of idea about the ending so it was extremely disappointing when I watched the last 2 episodes but overall I'd say it's still a great series. Honestly really enjoyed the first 10 episodes, they were one of the most thrilling episodes in anime I've seen. |

From episodes 1-10 I was on the edge of my seat. Once it reached episode eleven I was trying to see where they were heading. Cause ya know 11 episodes in is basically towards the end so that's when it usually sets up for the end. And I'm looking at everything that's going down and thinking "huh with the way it's headed I don't have a problem with how it's going whatsoever". But then episode 12 came and I was like "alright this show has been absolutely amazing I'm waiting for the bad ending everyone talks about" and I watched ..... And watched.... And it ended.... And I had absolutely zero problems whatsoever with the ending. I remember sitting there baffled thinking "huh? I thought that ending was great what's the problem??" I till this day see post on this show talking about how bad or average it is. I just don't understand the hate for this show at all. |

| Absolutely agree. Imo the manga ending is better, but the anime ending isnt bad... its pretty good imo. I think many people misinterpreted the relationship between Kajo and Satorou, so many ppl thought they will end up together, but instead they are always have been just friends. |
| Some said that they skipped a lot of things from the manga. I didn't find any problem though and overall its satisfied me. |

| Nah, author could've settled things better with more mystery. I wouldn't say the whole anime was ruined but that ending was definitely a dissapointment. Overall I'll give it a 6/10 |

| Most people don’t like it because the hero and heroine didn’t end up together. The reason I don’t rate it that high, is that after kajo arc, this anime went down a lot. The last 4 episodes felt really rushed and as if a kid wrote them. It was still enjoyable though. |

| I'm glad more people are accepting the ending and aren't caught up in the hate train of Erased's ending. I personally thought it was an eh ending, nothing special and they definitely messed up some aspects but subverted the expectations of others, the villain was defeated too easily and just felt like a very minor obstacle, and his motive/personality was all over the place. But Kayo not waiting 15 years for the MC like it's a freaking Disney movie or fable was way more realistic and mature. I have no problem with thinking the ending is bad because of the villain, but if it's because the two main characters didn't get together, then that's basically disliking a show because your ship didn't sail, which is pretty dumb in most people's opinion since his main reason for getting close to her wasn't to get in her pants or form a relationship. |

| Imo the ending could have been better, However, the anime is still a 10/10 for me and one of my most favorite shows. The reason some people hate the ending or the anime as a whole is that Satoru and Kayo didn't up together!! I mean, this is not even the purpose of the show. Anyway, I ship Satoru and Airi since the first episode and I'm glad they met each other again. |
