You obviously don't know what laid back means, Faye is lazy, not laid back, they are not the same thing. And she is very much an impulsive character and she likes excitement, which is the opposite of easy going. | Thank you for your feedback! Let me speculate a little about the behavior of such characters... The concept of "calm" (ease, unconstraint, informality) is very ambiguous, with many synonyms. For example:
Which of these words would fully define Arashi's behavior? I don't even really know. Some calm characters are annoying, while others are delightful. Some ignore others and it makes me rage, while others are extremely attentive to their surroundings, but both can be described with words like "calm". That is, I wanted to say that my characters demonstrate "relaxedness and open visual power". Indifference is their natural enemy. I saw Arashi first, and based on her character I already wrote the characteristics of "easy-going". The mood, the feeling she creates: Completely laid-back* behavior, while she doesn't seem stupid or cold, she seems dependable and responsive. I am drawn to their body language and the way they speak and their tone. There is a certain mood or energy of harmony. The smoothness of their behavior. They show you their ease, their relaxedness in everything: their design, their body language, their voice screams that. They are extremely relaxed and yet extremely reliable. Not every, so to speak, "laid-back" type is able to do so. They are more of a relaxed, easy-going type, rather than overly impassive. In general, this thing is easier to understand through the visual perception of the character, because the terms are extremely shaky... I hope it's not too abstruse? |

Wasn't ready for your hardcore analysis of the phrase "laid back" .... Why Faye can't be lazy AND laid back still escapes me... I guess Im just too stupid for that elaborate question of yours^^ Are the others alright, tho? Im really, reaaaaally worried you didn't like them either Edit: Oh, just realized you listed Nabiki as a laid back character....so wait...using your own logic here: She isn't lazy and she isn't impulsive?.... That seems wrong, you know :) I've seen Ranma 1/2, and these character traits pretty much apply to her... |
