It looked as promising as in season 1, first episode. Introduction at its finest.

The standard for 2nd season, episode 1 were still top notch as it was the same with season 1, episode 1. It was really intriguing and good to watch.

Let's be real, introduction at episode 1 is the most important to draw audience attention in deciding to watch it or not. A certain anime did a terrible job in doing that with their stories plot jumbled all up, making no sense at all, failing to present themselves with a good introduction episode to draw attention, despite their effort of having good animation. But dragon maid did well in this aspect even at season 2, making me having the same vibe as I have when season 1 episode 1 was released in 2017.

Kudos to all the animators in portraying the spirits, energy and giving their all in making this anime re-live again, and similar to their preceding style.
