Any of you guys ever had to help someone cheat on their schoolwork?

They clearly didn't want to be a teacher. They started that year and quit at the end of it, moving on to other things. I think it was just something for them to do while they were in transition. That class was a literal joke. No shit on time we took a "field trip" to the girl's bathroom because she had to use the toilet... we literally were standing outside waiting for her because she didn't want to leave our class alone in the classroom.

All of high school.

The actual class was like, Physical Rehabilitation, something like that. It wasn't quite called that. But it was studying the body and such. I went to a technical high school, so iniitially I thought I'd go into counciling but ended up switching out of that particular path into something else.

When it comes to light homework I help them with great pleasure but when I stay at least 2 hours on a homework I just prefer to help them with ideas, I don't like to work hard and others to write the same thing in 10 minutes.

Yeah I've had a lot of people copy my answers during tests or copy my homework or have me singlehandedly do all the work for a group project but I never really cared because it's not like it negatively impacted me. The only people getting hurt were the cheaters because they were screwing themselves in the long term since they probably failed to learn fundamentals that they would need for higher level classes later down the line.

Back in my school days, I would do that all the time with my classmates. Sometimes I was the one copying, sometimes I was the one allowing them to copy. Same with group projects, I would do all the work and give them credit or they would do all the work and give me credit, no big deal to me.

Beside, no one really have time to be doing others' work if it's a solo assignment. In fact, I used to have a period of time when we were bombarded with an overload of assignments even our fellow teachers know that we will never finish them all. Helping your friends out is almost key to finishing anything as getting stuck on a question for hours isn't fun when you have so much to do. Problem is, most people at that age don't understand that.

When you grow older, a lot of the work and study you do require co-ordination and everyone's life have responsibilities and are too busy to even find time to meet with their friends. It's understandable that you have to fill the gap somewhere when you have the time. Even if they share the same grade as you, anyone can tell who did most of the work. And if they are the type of people who just want to breeze through life, their attitude, beliefs and their personalities show.

If I have to compare being in a class full of people who aren't willing to help and one that does. I rather be in the later. I do know people who just want others to do their work or those who are too busy and can't even finish their own assignments. Sometime, it's just that they are weak at a particular subject so they might be relying on others. Tbh, work ethics is quite obvious and as much as you think it is easily hidden, it is not. I am of the belief that I should help whenever I can, because the whole team matters. I already experienced first hand, how oblivious some people can be and how cold it all seems to be in a place of people who doesn't care about others and doesn't help.

The thing is you're not allowed to leave the class in the middle of the exam, and you're only allowed to leave if you need to go to the toilet and you can't hold it anymore, and only one person is allowed to do it at the same time, but well my school is doing the exam in online, so there's no need to cheat with a friend

Yeah, all the way up to college, no shame on it. I even did tests for my schoolmates, I remember that back in school I did like 3 tests at once. We switched our tests back and forth and they both got enough marks to pass, felt great. If I felt that I was being used i stopped doing it though.

In college it was quite different because blatant copy is punished without exceptions, so I tried to help instead of giving them the answers, which is normally ok. If they dont get it I just make up an answer that is kinda different if I'm not bothered about it
