Season 3 of the series has been, not officially announced, but working on it because the director has roughly come out and say that Season 3 is in the works on their Twitter page. So season 3 HYPE!!!

Then, why i heard that it takes 4 years to make season 3 happen?
They said that they are still waiting for the manga and the light novel until some arc finished.

it literally took 4 years for s2 to be released and here you think you're going to get this anime in 3 years max. You might as well go on and finish One Piece while you're at it because we're not going to see this anime anytime soon.
The main reasons for the long wait was because there wasn't enough source material to even create a s2, nor did the author or the studio thought this series was gonna do well in terms of reception and popularity.

It took AOT like what, 4 years to make season 2 then pumped out 1 season per year to now? The main reason why season 2 didn't come out for so long with Re:Zero is because they didn't know if it was going to flop or not.

I see then, well for me personally as long as its well animated with great pacing, I don't mind waiting. I wouldn't want another seven deadly sins situation or The Promised Neverland pacing or even Tokyo Ghoul. I just want them to keep doing what they're doing or even get better.


Yeah i get it now, looks like re zero have a big impact this season. I hope re zero won't end like the promised neverland.
