| The longest fight ever. Going in blind, everyone else dies the around 15 turns except Mashu and Jeanne. She beat the shit out Scheherazade by herself with her full bar. It would've been easier if I didn't equip a shitty Master costume. I used all my seals against Berserker last fight so I really don't want to lose. |

Heh, casuals :p Seriosuly though, OTaON, while had this great backstory frame, its collective short stories are more suitable for adaptations and therefore became more famous outside the source's place of origin. A smart princess pretty much toying with a traumatized, blood-thirsty king for 1001 nights is great and all, but would you rather see that on the big screen or this badass sailor traveling the world, discovering new, weird and mystical islands and fighting Krakens on Thursdays? Or that (originally) everyday self-insert man who got a genie to grant him any wish he wants? Yeah, Aladdin is the original LN protagonist :p Ironically enough, Scheherazade's story is considered the more famous and mature story in the east because of how grounded it is with no fantastical elements. She literally came up with hundreds of stories that were consumed daily for 1001 nights, no day offs, while keeping the quality up so the king doesn't get bored and execute her. She's every author's wet dream. An ideal to strive for but can never ever reach. |
