With fake claims not sure how much good a massclaim will do us, all that does is show all the power roles. We should be able to find a scum without putting all our power at risk, but whatever everyone else wants to do. It is more they shot at all in a game where we can't afford any mistakes as it is. The fact that it was a cop makes it worse of course if they did shoot them anyway. Possible Viglante shot Ari as well but that would make even less sense. I would normally agree with a viglante shooting but in this setup a lot more caution then a random null read was needed. |

In all honesty, I hope they did not shoot Ari because she was a strong town read based on the general consensus of the town. I predict the mafia would kill Ari since she claimed and was essentially "confirmed" town by that point with the exception of a few. As for no lynch. It sounds tempting since we need as much info as possible, but I still want to drive this into the twilight phase so we have that additional 24 hours to work with and add pressure on to a narrow list of suspects. I never condone mass claiming in any game I play, but if this is what town sees as the best course of action, then I will have to comply. |

This is true but it is a risk I am willing to take if there are enough trustworthy active town players by the end of the phase, by this statement we are assuming that all mafia are active at this stage, and I am definitely willing to bet on the lurker list that there's definitely scum there. |
