I have watched a lot of animes with happy endings and stuff. I m looking for anime which will make me feel sad and stuff.

Rainbow, Texhnolyze and Welcome To The NHK were depressing while still being very good and not generic garbage.

Naruto and One Piece have their moments that are really touching since I can relate to the characters more so they have a stronger impact on me.

if you want one of the famous sad animes than just watch something from key for example clannad, clannad: after story, angel beats, kanon, ...

also kinda famous and sad are: anoHana, 5cm pers second (it´s a movie and not a series), grave of the fireflies (also a movie), gosick, kodomo no jikan (well there´s only one completely sad episode but this episode is so damn sad :/), madoka magica, sakurasou no pet na kanojo, listen to me girls i´m your father, shuffle, ...


but if you really want the saddest anime so far then i'd recommend Ef: a tale of memories and it´s sequel Ef: a tale of melodies! It's the sadest anime I´ve ever seen and it´s also one of the best animes i´ve ever seen!

animes like clannad or anohana are really great and sad but compared to something like Ef they are nothing!

Just watched. The ending is sad, indeed. But somehow the movie make you feel happy, I cried happy tears. It was very beautiful. I think a sad movie would be 5 Centimeters per Second, but the ending is very disapointing ):

Animes like Clannad, Angel Beats and Ano Hana has sad moments. But there are a lot of mixed emotions, is not just sadness, happiness as well... I mean, these animes make you feel a lot of different things.
