in my opinion, manga is a japanese comic that has a drawing charasteristic and animation style like no other comic.. and the story also has many variety.
Harlequin is a comic that being adapted from foreign novel, where mostly about romance.. so my question is do you considered a harlequin comic as amanga or not??

I do consider it as a manga...well a one-shot manga anyway. Even if it doesn't really relate to Japanese customs, etc, they're still illustrated by Japanese mangaka.

Anything published and sold in Japan for a Japanese audience is considered manga. It's not uncommon for stories to take anywhere from loose themes to entire scripts from foreign novels, movies, etc. Is a manga adaptation of Alice in Wonderland not manga? Is a US remake of a foreign film/TV series not a US film?

Also, there is no characteristic style for manga. I mean, there are thousands upon thousands upon more thousands of different manga.. they can't all look alike.

That's a company, I thought this was about a comic/manga in specific. Well, their publications are in Baka-Updates, so they are manga.

Harelequin comics are indeed manga. While they are written by foreign authors, they are mainly drawn by Japanese artists and are also by all other means a manga. Juts because they are not written by the Japanese does not rule it out as a manga so far as it is indeed published and sold in Japan.
