Throughout his career he not only grows as a play but as a person, showing great character development. He started out as a little push over and became a reliable leader on and off the field as pointed out by his childhood friend.  |

| Asuka Langley Neon Genesis Evangelion The reason Asuka is my favorite character is because the first anime I ever bought in a store was the End of Evangelion movie. I had no idea what was going on, I just bought it on whim because I had some left over credit at Gamestop (back when they sold dvds). I did understand that Asuka was amazing in the film, the way she tore through all the mass produced angels was epic. Ever since then she was cemented in as my favorite character. Soon after I bought the movie, ADV started releasing the platinum collection of Evangelion. Through watching that I began to like her even more because of her arrogance and brashness. Even though Asuka has a tough exterior, she is still scared and timid on the inside. She is an interesting dynamic character. |

| I have way too many to list or pick one. A lot of them I put in the character features of course. What draws me to anime & manga, or any type of media really is the characters. I guess I can comment on my forum avie though. It is Emeraldas from Captain Harlock & the Leiji Matsumoto universe. She's basically the female version of Harlock, another of my fave characters. I love Matsumoto-sama's designs so much aesthetically, but what I love about her specifically is her strength. Her flaws only make her appear human, and I love the internal struggles she goes through in various series. I have to say I like strong characters the most - on the physical and emotional levels. |
